Kristine studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh, qualifying in 1998. She is a UK registered architect.

She worked at Foster + Partners from 2005 to 2022, primarily on airport projects including Spaceport America in New Mexico, New Phnom Penh International Airport and Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2. For the construction supervision of the latter, a LEED Gold, 630,000m2 passenger terminal with 30 aircraft contact stands, Kristine relocated from the London head office to Kuwait as the project’s Lead Executive Architect. She had worked on the project since the concept design stage, leading the facility planning team. Other project experience includes Apple flagship stores in Istanbul, Hong Kong, Osaka and Tokyo, and the AlSager Diwan in Kuwait City.

Kristine worked with Kai and Amna at Foster + Partners for more than a decade and started collaborating with AWA in 2022.
